The Capture Adventure Workshop Details

We've nailed down the details for our 2014 Capture Adventure Workshop and we are excited to share. This year we are going to be hosting our workshop at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs, CA on May 19th-22nd. Our crew went out to Palm Springs a few weeks back and were blown away by the landscape and imagery available within minutes of the ACE (example above ^). Our goal is to take our attendees and team into the field to reconnect with the reasons we got into filmmaking.

The cost of the workshop is $2,500, and that includes ALL lodging and food at the ACE, one of our favorite hotels on the planet. We will begin on Monday the 19th and wrap on Thursday the 22nd.

To sign up, email, and know that we are limiting this experience to a small number of attendees for an optimal experience. Let us know if you have any questions at all and we look forward to seeing you in Palm Springs.

Announcing the Capture Adventure Workshop

Filmmaking is nothing short of an adventure. Each project we get involved in provides us with a new opportunity to explore - new places, new people, new stories. The adventure keeps us guessing, learning, taking risks and reaching points we didn't think we were capable of. We are grateful for the journey we are on and want to create an adventure for others as well.

Every year we try to set aside a week to host a workshop. It's a time to share our path with others in hope of inspiring them to pursue their passion. We definitely don't know everything, but have learned a lot in the past 5 years as a studio that we feel we should share. These times have proven to be some of our favorite and most enriching experiences for our team and the community of attendees we have had through our doors.

This year we have decided to take the show on the road and host our workshop in the field instead of our studio. We are working to secure a location that creates a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone involved. Let us know if you are interested and we will release more details as we firm them up. Email if you think you might want to be involved.

Back on the Grid

We're back.

Thanks for checking out the new blog and I hope we can keep bringing you back. We have spent the last year working on our new website,, as well as an updated blog, vimeo page, and social tools. In short, Capture is officially back on the grid with high hopes to share our experiences on the regular. We know we are lucky to be where we are and want to bring as many people along on our adventures as possible.

This past year has been quite a journey, here are a couple quick pics to hold you over. We have a lot more to share, including some BTS (behind the scenes) clips and personal projects we have been working on.

Thanks for checking out the new blog and I promise we will be in touch soon. Hit me up with any questions or requests -
